Review your Lichess games move by move
Lichess already has a free computer analysis. GChess Review adds a different view of the same game: a label on every move, the critical moments found for you, and the review opening where the game turned.
Step by step
- Open Review a game.
- Choose Lichess and type a username.
- Pick a game. The list shows the opponent, the result, the date and the time control.
- The review starts at once, on your own device.
Where the games come from
Your browser asks the Lichess API for the player's recent public games. Lichess receives the username you searched and, as with any website, your IP address. Nothing passes through a server of ours.
How it differs from Lichess analysis
- Labels for good moves too: Best, Excellent and Good, plus Great for the only move that holds and Brilliant for a sound sacrifice. The rules are on the move classifications page.
- Critical moments first: the positions that decided the result, so a long game can be studied in a few minutes.
- The same scale as Lichess: moves are measured with the win-probability curve and accuracy formula Lichess published, so the numbers are comparable.
