Review your Chess.com games for free, with no account
GChess Review grades every move of a Chess.com game, Brilliant to Blunder, with no account, no sign-up and no daily limit. The analysis runs on your own device.
Step by step
- Open Review a game.
- Choose Chess.com and type the username. It can be yours or any other player's: the games are public.
- Pick a game from the list. Your recent games are shown first, with the opponent, the result, the date and the time control.
- The review starts at once. The quick pass shows the shape of the game within seconds, and the labels fill in as the engine works.
Where the games come from
Your browser asks Chess.com's public API for the player's monthly game archives, newest month first. Nothing goes through a server of ours. If a player has few games in recent months, the list says so, and asking again looks further back.
A game that is not in the list
Any game can be reviewed from its PGN. On Chess.com, open the game, use Share, copy the PGN, then choose Paste a PGN on the games page. Pasted games go through exactly the same review.
What the review shows
- A label for every move, with the rules on the move classifications page.
- An accuracy for each player.
- The critical moments, where the game was won and lost, with the better move in each.
- The engine's line drawn on the board, and a board where you can try your own moves.
Is it the same as Chess.com's Game Review?
No, it is an independent review with its own published rules, and the labels will sometimes differ. It is not affiliated with Chess.com.
